The Marshal was released about a week into Season 5 of Cold War. It’s a break-action shotgun pistol with very high damage in close range. Like all COD fans, you’re probably wondering what the best attachments and class setups are for the Marshal.

Because the weapon is a secondary, it serves as a decent last-second swap weapon if you need to finish an opponent off in close range.

This guide will take you through the weapons stats and best attachments for the Marshal.

We will then suggest the top 2 best class setups to run. The Marshal is easy to use as long as you are up close and personal.

Weapon background

The Marshal originally appeared in Black Ops 3 as the single-shot double-barreled pistol, the Marshal 16. It was basically the same weapon. However, in BO3 is was not a break-action pistol.

Stats

  • Damage: 150
  • Rate of Fire: 171RPM
  • Recoil: Low

We can see from the stats above that the Marshal is a one-shot to kill pistol. It can absolutely melt people from close range. TheRate of Fire is standard for a pistol. However, players can increase the rate of fire by using the Dual Wield attachment. The recoil pattern is low to very controllable as it’s a shotgun pistol.

Best Attachments

The best attachments for the Marshal in Cold War are the 5.6” Cut Down barrel, Dragons Breath, and Dual Wield. The 5.6” Cut Down barrel extends the effective damage range, Dragons Breath increases the damage and the Dual Wield gives you two of those ponies. There aren’t that many attachments for this weapon so these three are the best overall.

Marshal Best Class Setups

Class 1 – Marshal Akimbos

This class setup is perfect for all playstyles. It’s super fun and really easy to get scorestreaks with. These three attachments combined turn the Marshal into an animal.

Gunsmith:

  • Dragons Breath
  • 12.1” Extended Barrel
  • Dual Wield
Marshal Best Attachments and Class Setups Class 1 Marshal Akimbo

  • Perk 2: Quartermaster/ Scavenger
  • Perk 3: Ninja /Ghost
  • Lethal: Semtex

Class 2 – Run and Gun

The Run and Gun setup is similar to the class above but we made some slight changes to the equipment. The attachment setup is the same except swap out the Extended Barrel for the Cut Down.

Gunsmith:

  • Dragons Breathe
  • 6.5” Cut Down
  • Dual Wield
Marshal Best Attachments and Class Setups Class 2 Run and Gun

This EM2 guide will take you through the best attachments and top 3 class setups for the weapon. Aswel as diving deep into the weapon stats and discussing what makes the weapon effective.

The EM2 is a fully automatic Assault Rifle that was released in Cold Wars Season 5 as part of the Battle Pass.

The EM2 has an impressive damage range with a built-in scope for accuracy. The weapon’s strong point is its very low recoil combined with decent damage.

Weapon background

The EM2 is the first of its kind we’ve seen in a Call of Duty title. However, the weapon is real and was used by British forces for a brief period in 1951.

Stats

  • Damage: 48
  • Rate of Fire: 535RPM
  • Recoil: Low

Looking at the stats above we can see that the EM2 assault rifle will melt people in an average of 4 shots. Landing a headshot will drop the weapon to a 3 shot. The ROF is standard here for all Cold War Assault Rifles. The Recoil is quite manageable even without a grip. However, this is subjective and every player handles recoil differently.

So without further ado let’s discuss the EM2 Best Attachments Class Setups…

Best Attachments

The best attachments for the EM2 in Cold War are the:

  • 25.8″ Task Force Barrel
  • Stanag 40 RND mags
  • Grip of the player’s choice.
  • Dropshot Wrap

The Task Force Barrel adds a tonne of effective damage range and bullet velocity. The Stanag 40 RND mags add additional ammo giving you 40 rounds per mag. Finally, a grip will help with countering recoil. Any grip should work fine.

Best Class Setups

Class 1 – All Out Warfare

The All Out Warfare class setup is great for both stealthy and aggressive players. It is in fact setup for both playstyles.

Gunsmith:

  • Suppressor
  • 25.8” Task Force
  • Foregrip
  • Stanag 40 RND
  • Dropshot Wrap

Class Setup

This class setup is perfect for those players that love to go balls deep and stay in the action. Were using Perk Greed here to max out our perk selection. The Stimshot is a trusty tactical because it helps us get back into the action faster.

  • Secondary: Magnum
  • Perk 1: Flak Jacket/ Tactical Mask
  • Perk 2: Scavenger/ Quartermaster
  • Perk 3: Ninja/ Spycraft
  • Lethal: C4
  • Tactical: Stimshot
  • Field Upgrade: Field Mic
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed

Class 2 – EM2 Ranger

This class setup maximizes bullet velocity while preserving the weapon’s usability. Even with these attachments it still has a decent ADS time and sprint to fire speed.

Gunsmith:

  • 27.4” Ranger Barrel
  • Infiltrator Grip
  • Stanag 40 RND Mag
  • Airborne Elastic Wrap
  • Raider Stock

Class Setup

The remainder of the class setup is a great class to use when playing objective-based game modes such as Domination and Hardpoint. Similar to the class above, we use Perk Greed to maximize perks. The AMP63 akimbo here is lots of fun. It’s funny hearing people rage when you melt them.

  • Secondary: AMP63 Akimbo
  • Perk 1: Flak Jacket/ Tac Mask
  • Perk 2: Scavenger/ Tracker
  • Perk 3: Ninja/ Ghost
  • Lethal: C4
  • Tactical: Stimshot
  • Field Upgrade: Jammer
  • Wildcard: Perk Greed

In this guide, we will run through the top stats of the weapon including the damage, rate of fire, and recoil. Then, we will suggest the 2 best classes for the Tec 9 in Black Ops Cold War. So without further ado, let’s get into the Tec-9 loadouts

The Tec 9 was released as part of Season 5 content in Black Ops Cold War. It’s a semi-automatic submachine gun with a 3 round burst mechanism. However, players can convert the Tec 9 into a fully auto SMG using the Full Auto Repeater muzzle attachment.

The weapon has a moderate fire rate for an SMG with a decent damage range.

Weapon background

The Tec 9 is the first-ever Tec 9 to feature in Call of Duty. We have seen similar SMGs in the past such as the MAC 10. However, the Tec 9 makes its COD debut in Black Ops Cold War.

Stats

  • Damage: 49
  • Rate of Fire: 451 RPM
  • Recoil: Moderate

We can see from the damage stats above, the Tec-9 deals 49 damage meaning it is a 4 shots to kill on average. The rate of fire is pretty normal for an SMG. However, the damage range combined with this rate of fire makes it one of the fastest killing SMGs in Cold War. The recoil is quite moderate with a very vertical pattern.

Let’s begin by looking at the greatest attachments for the Tec-9 in Black Ops Cold War.

Tec-9 Best Attachments

The best attachments for the Tec-9 in Black Ops Cold War are the:

  • Muzzle – Full Auto Repeater
  • 8.1″ Task Force Barrel
  • Field Agent Grip
  • Stanag 39 RND

The Full Auto Repeater turns the Tec-9 into a fully automatic SMG. The 8.1″ Task Force barrel gives you a well-needed boost in effective damage range. Finally, adding a grip will help stabilize recoil, especially after adding the full auto repeater.

Best Class Setups

Loadout 1 – Ranked Play

This loadout is perfect for rushers that love to optimize movement speed and those that love to stay right in the enemy’s face. The AK as secondary is effective for those longer-range gunfights.

Gunsmith:

  • Full Auto Repeater
  • 8.1” Tak Force Barrel
  • Field Agent Grip
  • Stanag 39 RND
  • Airborne Elastic Wrap

Class Setup

The rest of the loadout is built with stealth in mind. Ninja and Ghost keep you stealthy while Flak Jacket protects you from nade spam. The Assault Pack is very important in this loadout as you’ll be burning through ammo fast with the Tec-9.

  • Secondary: AK 47
  • Perk 1: Ninja
  • Perk 2: Ghost
  • Perk 3: Flak Jacket
  • Lethal: C4
  • Tactical: Stimshot
  • Field Upgrade: Assault Pack
  • Wildcard: Law Breaker

Loadout 2 – Tec 9 Akimbo Duty

Gunsmith:

  • Microflex LED
  • Full Auto Repeater
  • 8.1” Task Force
  • Steady Aim Laser
  • Foregrip
  • Stanag 39 RND
  • Serpent Wrap
  • Raider Stock

Class Setup

This is the best loadout and is great for players that love to play the objective rather than just go for kills. Flak Jacket and Trophy System make a great combo for gaming the objective. Scavenger will keep you loaded with ammo while Ninja protects you from sound whoring noobs. Have fun with the Akimbo Diamattis, absolute beasts.

  • Secondary: Diamatti
  • Perk 1: Flak Jacket
  • Perk 2: Scavenger
  • Perk 3: Ninja
  • Lethal: C4
  • Tactical: Stimshot
  • Field Upgrade: Trophy System
  • Wildcard: Gunfighter

The C58 is an assault rifle that was added to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as part of the Season Four of the game.

Despite its lack of mobility, this AR behave really well in close-quarters battles. It is described as an assault rifle with “high damage at close range with a slower fire rate.”

However, even with a slow fire rate, the C58’s damage accuracy, bullet velocity, and recoil control make it particularly useful also for long-range combat in Cold War’s multiplayer, making it a great choice for people who like the SMG playstyle with the perfect combination to close and long-range combat.

How Can We Unlock This Weapon?

In order to get their hands on the new C58, players must reach Tier 31 in the Battle Pass, and it’s free for all players. Once achieved, the weapon will be unlocked and ready on the inventory.

Now let’s check the stats:

Stats

  • Damage: 38
  • Rate of Fire: 555 RPM
  • Recoil: Low
  • Magazine Size: 20 rounds (25, 30, 35 and 60 with ammunition attachments)
  • Starting Ammunition: 20+60
  • Maximum Ammunition: 20+120 (MP) / 20+220 (ZM)
  • Reload Time: 2.4 seconds
  • Fire Mode: Fully-Automatic

As we can check on the weapon stats, it has decent damage, and a good Rate of Fire of 555 RPM.

The Reload Time is also acceptable, requiring only 2.4 seconds to be back on fight. In addition, the AR has a low recoil and allows you to easily control the weapon in clashes with enemies.

Best Attachments

Analyzing all the C58 characteristics so far, the best attachments for the C58 in Cold War are:

  • Muzzle: Infantry Compensator
  • Barrel: 18.7″ Reinforced Heavy
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Optic: Microflex LED
  • Magazine: Salvo 30 Rnd Fast Mag

Since the C58 has a moderate firing rate, you must ensure that every shot strikes the enemy. I’ve built this C58 attachment with recoil control and damage range in mind, so you can successfully perform the anchor role and keep opponents away from the objective.

The Microflex LED for will be necessary here for a clearer view. This 18.7 Reinforced Barrell provides a significant boost in range efficiency, and the Infantry Compensator combined with Field Agent Grip gives us an excellent recoil control.

Lastly, Salvo 30 Rnd will provide more ammo to survive longer in battle.

Best Class Setups

Class 1 – No Recoil

Gunsmith:

  • Optic: Microflex Led
  • Muzzle: Infantry Compensator
  • Barrel: 18.7″ Reinforced Heavy
  • Body: KGB Target Designator
  • Underbarrel: SFOD Speedgrip

  • Perk 2: Scavenger
  • Perk 3: Ninja

  • Field Upgrade: Jammer

The MG 82 was added in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as part of the Season Four batch of content for the game.

The weapon is a light machine gun that fires in full auto mode, and has the fastest firing rate in the class with increased aiming speed.

While its mobility is limited like all LMGs, the MG 82 achieves a good balance between LMG and AR playstyles. Also, with proper attachments that prioritize mobility and damage range this weapon can become one of the game’s most flexible LMGs.

Weapon Background

The MG 82, previously known as “Ameli”, was first added as a light machine gun in COD: Ghosts and remained with this name in COD: Advanced Warfare, and on its secret version from Infinite Warfare.

The weapon was finally renamed to “MG 82” only in season 4 of Call of Duty Cold War.

How to Unlock This Weapon?

Players may obtain this new LMG for free in the Season 4 Battle Pass, similar to other previous weapons in past Battle Passes.

To get this LMG, players need to simply reach tier 15 in the Season 4 Battle Pass for Black Ops Cold War. Once they achieve Tier 15, they will be able to level up and utilize this new LMG in all future battles.

But what can we expect from it? Let’s check out the stats!

Stats

  • Damage: High (30)
  • Rate of Fire: 909 RPM
  • Recoil: Decent control
  • Magazine size: 100 rounds (125 and 150 with ammunition attachments)
  • Reload time: 8 seconds
  • Fire mode: Automatic

Looking at the stats, we can see that the MG 82, like other LMGs, provides significant damage to the enemy, and has a huge magazine, which reduces the need for reloading, so it should be an interesting LMG in Black Ops Cold War.

Also, the weapon has a decent Recoil control and an incredible Rate of Fire, and it can get even more powerful with attachments, which makes this LMG a deadly weapon in the field.

MG 82 Cold War Best Attachments

The best attachments for the MG 82 in Cold War are:

  • Barrel: 16.4″ Task Force
  • Underbarrel: SFOD Speedgrip

The PM63 returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as the AMP63, now being designated as a pistol rather than a submachine gun.

It was added on June 1st, 2021, as part of the continuation of Season Three content for the game.

The AMP63 is a full-auto pistol that offers a “fast firing rate with enhanced bullet velocity and moderate recoil.” In addition, it delivers “reliable damage output at close range,” according to its description.

In order to unlock the new pistol, players just have to kill 5 enemies, using pistols, in 20 different completed matches. That’s all.

Weapon background

Formerly known as the”PM63″, the weapon was introduced as a Submachine Gun in Call of Duty: Black Ops, and reappears in COD: Cold War as a Full-Auto pistol with a deadly rate of fire.

Stats

  • Damage: 33
  • Rate of Fire: 652 RPM
  • Magazine Size: 15 rounds (Ammo attachments: 20, 22 and 25 in Cold War)
  • Reload Time: 2 seconds (empty)
  • Fire Mode: Automatic
  • Starting Ammo: 15+30 (MP)
  • Max Ammo: 15+90 (MP), 15+210 (ZM)
  • Recoil: High

Looking at the Stats, we can see that AMP63 has a fantastic rate of fire, which makes it an excellent close-quarters, shoot-from-the-hip type weapon.

Also, it has a decent reload time of just 2 seconds and a good ammo amount (starting and maximum).

Its high recoil makes the pistol a little bit difficult to handle, but if you get trapped with a lot of enemies, this fantastic pistol will certainly do its job to help you survive.

AMP63 Cold War Best Attachments

The best attachments for the AMP63 in Cold War are:

  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
  • Barrel: 7.2″ Reinforced Heavy
  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Magazine: STANAG 25 Rnd Mag
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight

Best Class Setups/ Gunsmith Loadouts

Gunsmith:

  • Barrel: 6.4″ Task Force
  • Muzzle: Sound Suppressor
  • Magazine: Salvo 22RND Fast Mag
  • Stock: Dual Wield

Loadout 2 – Increased Damage

The SOCOM Muzzle will be selected to reduce our recoil and keep our pistol with its base damage instead of using silencers that reduce them. 6.4″ Task Force helps increase our damage even more.

Ember Sighting Point increases our hip-fire and reveals distance. Salvo 22 Rnd to provide more ammo on the field. And, lastly, Dual Wield was chosen to turn our pistol into a close-range monster.

The PPSh-41 returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It was added as part of Season Three content for the game.

The PPSh-41 SMG is an absolute masterpiece. Famed for its fire speed, the PPSh-41 is classified as having the second fastest fire rate in its category, but with better shot damage than the fastest one, the MAC-10

With this information, you can see that this powerful SMG can really melt an enemy in seconds, becoming the ideal weapon for leading the war in objective modes and helping out by clearing tight spaces on the battlefield.

Weapon background

The SMG, formerly known as only “PPSh” was introduced in Call of Duty: United Offensive and featured in several other titles such as Call of Duty: Finest Hour, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (and remastered), Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Black Ops III, Call of Duty: WWII and now in Black Ops Cold War.

How can we unlock this speedy-killer weapon?

In order to get your hands on the PPSH-41, players must reach level 15 in the Battle Pass. Once completed, the weapon will be unlocked and available on the inventory.

Now let’s check the Stats:

Stats

  • Damage: 28
  • Rate of Fire: 909 RPM
  • Recoil: High
  • Magazine Size: 32 rounds (40, 50, 55, and 71 with ammunition attachments)
  • Starting Ammunition: 32+160
  • Maximum Ammunition: 32+192
  • Reload Time: 2.2 seconds (empty)

As we can check on the weapon stats, it has decent damage for an SMG, requiring between 6 to 7 shots to kill (not including headshots, of course) and an incredible Rate of Fire of 909 RPM.

It also has a large magazine size with plenty of ammo to survive in the match. The Reload Time is also acceptable, requiring only 2.2 seconds for a full reload.

Despite its high rate of fire, the weapon recoil is quite manageable, allowing you to stretch engagements out to medium distances if you can study its pattern and adapt it accordingly.

Of course, the weapon has its flaws, the most notable one is its hip-fire spread, its spread is greater than the category standard. This might be ideal for dealing with many targets simultaneously, where the range doesn’t actually matter, but aiming down sights (ADS) may be slightly better against a single target, even if the conflict is just 5 meters long.

PPSh-41 Cold War Best Attachments

The best attachments for the PPSh-41 in Cold War are:

  • Muzzle: Spetsnaz Compensator
  • Barrel: 14.9″ Reinforced Heavy
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Handle: GRU Elastic Wrap
  • Magazine: 55 Rnd Drum

The Spetsnaz Compensator muzzle attachment provides some recoil compensation for the PPSH-41, making the weapon a lot more reliable to use. The 14.9” Reinforced Heavy Barrel was chosen here because it gives us a more effective damage range as well as some bullet velocity to the weapon.

In the Underbarrel section, we chose this Spetsnaz Grip as it can deliver even more recoil control, turning our SMG into a smooth weapon to handle.

The GRU Elastic Wrap is a good choice here so we can have more flinch resistance and a better Aim Down Sight time. And, lastly, the 55 RND Drum Magazine, which allows us to stay even longer in a fight.

The Striker returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as the Streetsweeper. It was added on January 7th, 2021 as part of the Season One content for the game.

The Streetsweeper is a fully automatic shotgun that can easily clear rooms with several enemies in it. It also has the highest fire rate in its class and a decent ammo pool. The scary thing is that with the proper tools, you can turn it even more lethal, as the weapon is extremely accurate, has a surprisingly decent range, and fits in any loadout.

Weapon background

The weapon, formerly known as “Striker”, was introduced as a semi-automatic shotgun in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and was present in several other games of the franchise such as Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops Declassified, Call of Duty Online, and Mobile, and became a fully-automatic shotgun in Black Ops Cold War and COD Warzone.

Unlike previous models, the Streetsweeper has a special folding stock and when a shell is loaded into the weapon, the player spins a knob on the front of the drum to cycle each of the shells through it.

There are two ways to obtain this powerful shotgun:

Method 1: Through an in-game challenge. Players will need to get a 3 killstreak with a Shotgun in 15 different games. Once completed, the shotgun will be unlocked and will be ready to use.

Method 2: Through the Shock Value bundle, which costs 1.200 COD Points. The bundle also includes the Surge Protector blueprint for the Streetsweeper.

Now, let’s finally check the Streetsweeper stats:

Stats

  • Damage: Extremely High (134)
  • Rate of Fire: 300 RPM
  • Recoil: High
  • Starting Ammunition: 12+36
  • Maximum Ammunition: 12+72
  • Magazine Size: 2 shells (15 and 18 with ammunition attachments)
  • Reload Time: 14.1s (empty)

Looking at the stats, we realize that this fully automatic shotgun can unleash a series of destructive blasts in a matter of seconds.

With its full-auto nature and huge magazine size, the Streetsweeper is a very effective weapon in close-quarters combat, dispatching enemies easily.

The Streetsweeper, on the other hand, has an extremely slow reload time of 14 seconds, pushing players into situations where standing back away from fighting to reload might be the best option.

Streetsweeper Cold War Best Attachments

The best attachments for the Streetsweeper in Cold War are:

  • Muzzle: Duckbill Choke
  • Barrel: 14.6″ Ranger
  • Body: SWAT 5mw Laser Sight
  • Magazine: STANAG18 RND Drum
  • Stock: Wire Stock

The Duckbill Choke is the first move in creating a massive destruction weapon since we want to maximize coverage. A wider spread increases the chances of reaching the target if your Hip Fire isn’t really precise or if there’s a lot of enemies around.

The 14.6′′ Ranger Barrel increases the Effective Damage Range by 30% at the price of Aim Walking Movement Speed, which we’re trying to avoid anyway. The SWAT 5mw Laser Sight improves hip-fire accuracy and works well with the other attachments.

Surprisingly, the STANAG 18 RND Drum has no disadvantages. The in-game summary states that it slows down reloading by 32%, but this isn’t entirely accurate. Since you have six more shells in your drum, it will obviously take a little longer to reload, so this ends up offering free extra ammunition and magazine enhancement.

Finishing the attachments, we should put on the Wire Stock, since it does nothing but improve your Sprint-To-Fire speed, giving you a little more freedom to run around.

Best Class Setups / Gunsmith Loadouts

Loadout 1 – Brutalizer Mode

Gunsmith:

  • Muzzle: Infantry V-Choke
  • Barrel: 14.4″ Task Force
  • Body: Swat 5mW Laser Sight
  • Magazine: STANAG 18 RND Drum
  • Stock: Wire Stock

By using the Infantry V-Choke and 14.4′′ Task Force Barrel players are able to one-shot enemies that are up to nine meters away, which is an incredible range for a fully automatic shotgun.

And when aiming down sights isn’t an option in close quarters, the 5mW Laser helps you by improving the hip-fire accuracy. The 18 RND Drum gives us extra ammunition and an additional magazine. Finally, the Wire Stock improves our Sprint-to-Fire speed in a battle.

Loadout 2 – Balanced Mode

Gunsmith:

  • Muzzle: Duckbill Choke
  • Barrel: 13.5″ Reinforced Heavy
  • Body: Steady Aim Laser
  • Magazine: STANAG 18 RND Drum
  • Stock: Marathon Stock

The Duckbill Choke got chosen here because it can take down multiple enemies in the pellet radius. The 13.5” Reinforced Heavy Barrel provides an Effective Damage Range and Fire Rate, so it’s quite helpful.

By using the Steady Aim Laser, we gain 20% of Hip Fire Accuracy, which is certainly useful in battle.

The Stanag 18 RND Drum is simply the best choice for every loadout because it provides the most ammo and MAG enhancement, and the Marathon Pad gives us 5% Sprinting Move Speed, 10% Shooting Move Speed, 25% Sprint-To-Fire Time and 10% Aim Walking Movement Speed.

With all these combined, we gain a really faster shotgun, in almost every aspect.

Loadout 3 – Resistance

Gunsmith:

  • Barrel: 14.6″ Ranger
  • Body: Steady Aim Laser
  • Magazine: STANAG 18 RND Drum
  • Handle: Field Tape
  • Stock: No Stock

The 14.6” Ranger Barrel can provide a 30% Effective Damage Range, which looks like a good choice for taking down multiple enemies. Now we go with the Steady Aim Laser because it gives us 20% of Hip Fire Accuracy, which is extremely important while we are not aiming down sights.

The Stanag 18 RND Drum prevails here to provide our extra ammo, and the Field Tape was chosen here to provide more stability when we get shot.

The ZRG 20mm Sniper Rifle was added on April 7th, 2021 to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as part of Season 2 content for the game. It is a bolt-action sniper with a slower rate of fire, but also with an extreme power boost for long-range combat, capable of taking out enemies with a single shot from any distance.

In general, this weapon can be extremely effective in the hands of a skilled player with good aim, but if the player fails to hit the target, they will be left wide open for quite a while. This is an ideal sniper for players who want to scope quickly or have the eyes of a hawk.

There are two ways that we can obtain ZRG sniper:

Method 1: Through an in-game challenge. Players will need to get two longshot medals within 10 different matches. When completed, the player will be able to use the ZRG 20mm Sniper Rifle.

Method 2: Through the Jackpot Sniper bundle that costs 1,200 COD Points. Players can do this with the points they’ve accumulated throughout the season, or they can invest $10.99 USD to get it right away.

Let’s check the stats of this powerful sniper:

Stats

  • Damage: High (110)
  • Rate of Fire: 27 RPM
  • Recoil: High
  • Magazine Size: 3 rounds (4, 5, 6 and 7 with ammunition attachments)

Looking at the stats, we can see that the weapon really has extreme damage, but like almost every sniper, it has extremely high recoil, making everything more challenging.

The ammo is considered low since it only has 3 Rounds/MAG (5), which increases the need for reloading if the player misses the target. Besides that, this sniper is so powerful that it can even cause massive damage to vehicles, which only a few guns in Black Ops Cold War or Warzone can do.

ZRG 20mm Cold War Best Attachments

The best attachments for the ZRG 20mm in Cold War are:

  • Barrel: Rapid Fire
  • Body: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Ammunition: 5 Rnd
  • Handle: Airborne Elastic Wrap
  • Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip

As we saw, the ZRG 20mm’s damage is amazing, so we will want to build it in a way that makes it faster to use. Despite having more power than the other snipers, the ZRG’s low fire rate balances it out. It has a long bolt animation, so the Rapid Fire barrel will greatly speed things up.

Since you’ll be using this Sniper more from distance, enemies will frequently fade into the map. The Tiger Team Spotlight will mark the enemies so you can be able to find them easily. The ZRG magazine only has three rounds, so the 5 Rnd magazine attachment will allow us to take out more targets without slowing down your ADS.

Ultimately, the Airborne Elastic Wrap and Bruiser Grip are an excellent match for improving your mobility while handling this heavy weapon. You’ll have faster ADS and movement speed, enabling you to perform with the faster snipers on the battlefields of BO Cold War.

The Swiss K31 is a straight-pull bolt-action sniper rifle that was added to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as part of Season 3.

The K31 was designed to be a faster sniper, as it has a fast ADS, quick bolt time, and also a pretty decent ammo capacity. The weapon was also designed for quickscoping on small maps, but it still has enough potential to deliver some decent long-shots.

The Swiss K31 is quite the opposite of Season 2’s ZRG 20mm Sniper Rifle, as the K31 is defined as having “exceptional accuracy, with a quick rechamber, faster-aiming speed in addition to a larger bullet capacity,” while the ZRG is heavy and potent, but quite slow.

How to unlock this weapon?

In order to unlock this new sniper, you must reach Tier 31 in the Season 3 Battle Pass. There are still no challenges or additional methods for unlocking it, so this is the only way to do it for now.

Fortunately, the Swiss K31, like some previous battle pass weapons, will be available for free, so even if you didn’t purchase the battle pass, you can still gain enough experience to reach Tier 31 and obtain this fast sniper.

Now let’s check the stats of this speedy sniper:

Stats

  • Damage: High (110)
  • Rate of Fire: 55 RPM
  • Recoil: Low
  • Reload Time: 2.8s
  • Magazine Size: 6 rounds (7, 8, 9 and 10 with ammunition attachments)

Looking at the stats, we can see that the K31 has amazing damage, with a high level of 110 damage, a low recoil, which makes this sniper easy to handle and an incredible rate of fire at 55 RPM. The sniper also has a decent reload time, requiring only 2.8 seconds and a really large magazine size that can get even larger with attachments.

But even with the sniper’s high damage, we can’t take this value too seriously though, as some tests in-game surprisingly shows that we might need two shots to take down enemies in multiplayer by using the sniper without any attachments. Not including headshots, of course.

Swiss K31 Cold War Best Attachments

The best attachments for the Swiss K31 in Cold War are:

  • Barrel: 24.9″ Tiger Team
  • Body: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Stock: Raider Stock
  • Magazine: 8 Rnd Mag
  • Handle: Airborne Elastic Wrap

To begin, the K31 can become totally transformed with this Tiger Team barrel. It does significantly more damage, allowing you to destroy full-health players with just one shot in the chest. Using the Tiger Team Spotlight will mark the enemies so you can be able to find them more easily.

The Raider Stock and the Airborne Elastic Wrap got selected here so we could have an even faster Fire Time and ADS Speed. Finally, when using the 24.9” Tiger Team Barrel, our ammo capacity gets automatically reduced, so using the 8 Rnd Magazine will balance that and give us an excellent result.
